about

Among the many demons we (as a band) struggle with, is anxiety. Now-a-days, it seems to me that there are less people without it than with it, but nevertheless, it's a common thread through most of our band. Donny and Travis have also coped with their own unique anxiety. Hell, Travis wasn't able to perform facing the audience for ages.

"The fortunate thing is that everyone seems to have found ways to manage, but my methods seem ineffective...likely because I have none", said singer Cody.

"I just live with it. I have thought many a time about how much easier things might be if I gave in to my urge to close off. To never play another stage. To severe all ties. I'm glad I have thought about it as often as I do and as critically as I have as well, because it always leads me to the conclusion that that urge is one to wallow in my misery."

lyrics

Back to familiar walls
They hold my head straight to view the outside world
The heroes thieves and fools
I prefer my piece of mind that all I know is known

We're always taught it's better still
To lie in bed with your ears ringing
Of glory days of holding still
While better men will die for meaning

Back by a window's warmth
Felt from my head turned on all the outside world
From deep inside a home
I divorced all risk and fear so I'd be safe alone

We're always taught it's better still
To lie in bed with your ears ringing
Of glory days of holding still
While better men will die for meaning

There's no prize for last year's honor

We're always taught it's better still
To lie in bed with your ears ringing
Of glory days of holding still
While better men will die for meaning
better men will die for meaning
better men will die for meaning
